Sustainable Quilts at the ISES Sustainability Summit

We are pleased to once again be part of the NYC Sustainability Summit hosted by the New York Metro Chapter of the International Special Events Society. This year’s event will be held tomorrow, April 3, at the Rubin Museum of Art. MFTA will be represented by John and Nat of our Education Center, who will invite guests to make a collage quilt from posters and stickers from the warehouse.

Catered by Stephen Starr Events, with drinks from local brewers and green distillers, the Summit offers members of the meetings and events industry an invaluable 360-degree perspective on the future of sustainable practices – from smarter global sourcing to local vendors. Featuring a powerful lineup of green event innovators, corporate sustainability champions, and environmental experts, the event will provide an interactive blend of educational workshops and motivating keynotes, as well as a whole new level of social networking at the newly reimagined Marketplace 2.0.

We are excited to be there tomorrow and hope to see some of you. Be sure to stop by our booth and contribute to the quilt.
