MFTA Recipients Get Free Supplies

New York City’s nonprofit organizations with significant arts programming, public schools, and government agencies may become Materials for the Arts recipients through a simple application process.

Recipients gather donations at the MFTA warehouse by appointment only during our biweekly shopping hours (Tuesdays 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and Thursdays 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm), or through our online Direct Donations service, which directly links recipients to donors. Though we call it shopping, no money is ever exchanged for the goods our recipients collect.

Each year, MFTA provides millions of dollars of supplies as well as inspiration to New York City’s artistic and educational communities.
