The Education Center at Materials for the Arts offers classes that are open to all members of the public, as well as field trips for school groups, community projects for events, and residencies. The classes and workshops cover a broad range of activities such as no-sew costume-making, papermaking, fabric reuse, puppetry, batik, and game-playing, all taught with items found in the warehouse. We also offer P-credit courses for teachers, as well as professional development workshops for community-based educators. For more information on learning at MFTA, please continue to our website.
