The MFTA Nation

We are always interested in how our donors find out about us and the MFTA Nation really does have less than ‘six degrees of separation’.  We’d like to welcome on board a new donor – Irena Peer– a fabric designer.

Antonio, MFTA’s donations coordinator, and Irena Peer, at Carnegie Fabrics’ showroom opening for their new collection

Irena has worked in the textile industry in Russia, Israel, and Japan and currently works with Carnegie Fabrics – profiled here last week.  Irena was encouraged to donate by her colleague Will Guerra who runs Carnegie’s design showroom.  It turns out that Irena son’s school, PS 144 in Forest Hilsl is a frequent visitor to the Materials for the Arts warehouse. So the circle continues.  Tell your friends and colleagues about donating to MFTA and you too will be part of the MFTA Nation.
