Summer’s here and it’s time for creative PD

It’s hot outside but cool in MFTA’s studios. Once school is out for students, teachers head to here and get creative while earning P credits. The teacher above used MFTA supplies to have each of her students create clocks when they were learning about time. It is inspiring to tap into your own creativity and learn from our Master Teaching Artist Joy Suarez as well as your colleagues.

This summer we’re offering four courses:

July 9 – 14: Creative Infusion: Art and Reuse in the Classroom

July 16 – 21: Paper: From Pulp to Fiction

July 23 – 28: Raw Fibers: The Art of Fabric

July 30 – August 4: Project Based Learning: Reuse in ELA

All courses meet at MFTA from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Click here to read more about each course.
