A fire-breathing paper dragon

Photo courtesy of Myrna Perez Fung.

Myrna Perez Fung, Parent Coordinator at PS 188 Kingsbury, in Oakland Gardens, Queens, sent us a picture of this really cool dragon created by PTA parents for the school’s Lunar New Year Show. This dragon is a great example of something you can make with just a few different kinds of paper and a little bit of imagination. The dragon’s scaly skin is made of foil mesh and colored paper. The parents used metallic paper to make flames. All of the materials used to create the dragon came from MFTA. Thanks for sharing this fun project Myrna!
