Pink mouths, starry nights, and crazy forests from MIX NYC

MIX NYC has sent over great work before, and their decorations for the 24th MIX Festival are no less impressive. You may recognize the furniture used for the pink space cave from our Masked Marvelous Cocktail Party this year, though that’s not all that was used from the warehouse. Paper and batting were used to create structures and fill pillows, fabric and curtains were used to make the star curtains, and turf and flowers were made to create the forest. The re-imagination of these materials and the execution of the project is seriously impressive, and a testament to the creativity of our recipients.
