Sewing designs and bookmaking from a local school

These photos were sent over from Mrs. Ferguson, a former participant in one of our Professional Development bookmaking workshops. She used the techniques and methods in the workshop and brought them back to the Beach Channel High School here in Queens. Aside from envelopes for bookmaking, Mrs. Ferguson used mannequins, fabric, and other materials from the warehouse for the school’s Vocational Sewing Club. I love the diversity of the patches – there are some really cool designs.
