School group tours at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum

MFTA recipient Brookyn Children’s Museum offers school group tours throughout the school year at the country’s oldest children’s museum. Each program is designed to be aligned with New York State standards and are geared toward the developmental needs of each group. With each program, they supply a pre- and post-lesson plan so that educators may extend and continue the learning in the classroom. Sample programs include Sing, Chant, and Move to the Beat!, Tales and Scales, Pattern Wizardry, and Circle of Life: Alive/Not Alive.

For more detailed information about programs and pricing, call(718) 735-4400 x118 or view their website.

Alive/Not Alive sounds like an awesome existential project, while Sing, Chant, and Move to the Beat! reminds me of a certain children’s show in the best possible way. Group visits are a great way for children of all ages to learn and experience something new.
