Paper: From Pulp to Fiction (Joy Suarez, instructor)
STARTS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12
Using everyday items from the recycling bin and free supplies from the MFTA warehouse, participants in “Paper” learn sustainable techniques for papermaking, pen and ink, block prints, stenciling, silkscreen and collage.
With a focus on using art projects to teach the Common Core standards, participants in “Paper” develop art-integrated lesson plans for the variety of learning styles in their specific instructional setting.
Six Saturday sessions, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm: 11/12/11, 11/19/11, 12/3/11, 12/10/11, 12/17/11 & 1/7/12
All sessions meet at Materials for the Arts.

Total cost: $425 ($300 MFTA fee + $125 ASPDP fee)
