Volunteers needed!

Volunteers wanted in the MFTA warehouse

From the Volunteer Coordinator:

The New Year is here and so are new donations! The stars have aligned and we’re now stocking the shelves with a variety of new items from a number of generous donors. With your help, we can get there faster.

Our volunteers do everything from helping organize the warehouse floor to assisting with special art projects–they are essential to our operation and help us serve the more than 4,000 non-profit organizations and public schools that rely on MFTA.

We’re looking for volunteers for Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 10am and 5pm. We also appreciate those available after shopping on Tuesday afternoon between 2 and 5pm, as well as Thursday mornings between 10am and 1pm. Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Jim Ditto, at jditto@mfta.nyc.gov or 718-729-2047 to arrange a date to volunteer soon.

Help us get free supplies to NYC's public schools and cultural community, volunteer today!
