To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) a group of residents made a commemorative quilt using materials from Materials for the Arts. The beautiful quilt was displayed at Gracie Mansion. Quilters have long known about the joys of reuse and we’re glad to see New Yorkers are keeping this rich tradition alive.
