Excitment has been brewing here at Materials for the Arts ever since we were invited to join this new project.

The Red Fern Theater Company has commissioned seven playwrights to write original short plays addressing their visions of what New York City will be like in 30 years while examining how our actions today directly affect our lives in the future. The show is called +30NYC and promises to be an innovative evening of brand new theater.

Most importantly +30NYC will be an all-sustainable green project. All sets, costumes, lights, and props are recycled materials and chosen with an eye towards sustainability. This is a natural partnership for us at Materials for the Arts where we work to save tons of materials that could be used by our non-profit artistic organizations, instead of ending up in our landfills.

Click here to visit the Red Fern Theater Company webpage and learn more about this show. Don’t forget to buy your tickets now while seats are available.

Look forward to seeing you there!
