A Second Christmas for Some Lucky Groups

Many of you may recall that back in November and December we received our annual shipment of holiday decorations. In particular, you may recall the enormous snowmen and snowflakes we received from American Christmas, Inc. Well it turns out American Christmas still has a lot of decorations stowed away in their Bronx warehouse, and they are looking to clean it out. Please read the message below from Production Director, Kim Meyerer:

Concentrating exclusively on holiday décor and installations, American Christmas, Inc. is a renowned industry leader in creating traditional to cutting-edge contemporary displays for the most famous retailers and landmark buildings across America.

Currently we are offering previously used decorations for free to all Materials For The Arts Members to be picked up at our Bronx location.

We will host a one day event on Wednesday March 10th between the hours of 9 and 4pm with time slots on the ½ hour. Please call Orsi at 718-402-9700, ext. 325 to let us know what time slot you would like to sign up for. All materials are on a first come first serve basis. There is no limit to the amount of items you take. Bring a truck!!! If your organization has any special needs please contact Orsi.

Materials to Donate:

  • 24”, 36”, 48”, 60”, 72” plain, lit and decorated wreaths
  • Garland; plain, lit and decorated
  • Multi loop Bows
  • Ornaments
  • Florals
  • Pine cones
